Startup programs
SOSA Innofense is a unique acceleration program promoting groundbreaking ideas that solve the challenges of the State of Israel’s defense systems. The program enables the acceleration of innovative technologies and support them into POCs and implementations in the security sector, the Israeli Ministry of Defense, and the IDF.
The Shabak-SOSA Downtown Accelerator is a unique program designed to bridge the world of tech created for civilian and security use. The program enables the acceleration of innovative ideas and support them into POCs and real-world implementations, allowing participating startups to work hand in hand with Shabak design partners.
Who we are
(Res) David Rokach and Erik Kerten
Erik leads SOSA HLS Open Innovation programs. Before SOSA, Erik served in the Israeli Security Agency (Shabak) and was the co-founder and CEO of several international companies in the HLS and defense domain. Erik sits in the advisory board in a few of the leading organizations in the HLS and defense sector.
David is leading the SOSA HLS open innovation programs and accelerators for international defense companies and the Israeli Ministry of Defense. With over 30 years of experience, David served as the Head of Weapons System Division in the IDF, and held a number of key positions, including VP at Aeronautics and Senior Security Director at "Peres & Associates", led by Former Israel President Shimon Peres.
