About the program

The Shabak-SOSA Downtown Accelerator is a unique dual use tech program designed to bridge the civilian and security world. The program supports the development process for the unique security needs and challenges of the southern district. The program will accelerate innovative ideas and support them in POCs and real-world implementations, allowing participants to work hand in hand with Shabak design partners.
The Accelerator program is located in Ashkelon and Tel Aviv.

Put your technology to the test

Selected startups will have the opportunity to implement their solutions in real-world scenarios with Israel’s security agency - The Shabak.

Get a $50,000 non-equity grant

The program will provide the startups with a non-equity grant of $50,000 to lay the groundwork for transition into the security sector.

Include your potential client in your development process

The Shabak’s internal customer will join your team as a champion, and together you will lead the POC process in a success-oriented path.

Gain access to a global network

Participants will receive guidance, mentorship and support from the SOSA HLS team, as well as access to SOSA’s global network of investors, multinational corporations and industry leaders.

Get the business tools you need

Participating startups will receive legal, business, accounting and marketing mentoring. SOSA’s innovation experts will map out participant’s needs and devise a financial plan built to achieve milestones.

Develop commercially and technologically
