Government agencies are increasingly looking for proven ways to help their homegrown startups enter the U.S. market, the world’s largest economy. In June 2025, SOSA delivered its first program for Polish startups, partnering with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

The program provided thirteen Polish EdTech startups with a one-day program focusing on building their U.S. expansion strategy and tailored insights on their pitch from U.S. investors and expert mentors.

What the Polish EdTech program delivered

During the program in New York, the 13 Polish EdTech startups took part in group sessions focused on U.S. market entry, deep dives on the U.S. startup and VC ecosystem, and practical sessions with sectors. Founders learned key insights in U.S. expansion strategy, delivered their pitches to a panel of experts, and learned how to meet U.S. buyer and investor expectations.

Each startup received feedback from US-based investors, EdTech founders, and expert mentors, giving them insights into market standards and fundraising best practices. The feedback offered specific adaptations to the startups’ core company messaging, product roadmaps, highlighting of the addressable market in the U.S., and other aspects crucial to a successful fundraising process.

This program was developed in partnership with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, a leading Polish government agency spearheading innovation initiatives for Polish companies. By supporting the startups in their U.S. market journey, the program delivered measurable progress in product validation, investor engagement, and market readiness.

During the U.S. mission, Polish EdTech startups had the opportunity to present their solutions in a market known for setting global standards in education technology. It demonstrates that Polish founders are not only ready to compete internationally, but are also contributing meaningfully to the transformation of how the world learns.
